Scott Tynan

Scott initially joined Sentinel in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer, and in January 2024 he moved into the Chief Operating Officer position. Scott focuses on the CEO’s daily directives and company requirements, directly supporting the CEO to drive outcomes for the company as the leader and manager of Sentinel’s Heads of Departments.

When operational directives need to be accomplished, Scott ensures that they are executed in an efficient and timely manner. He is responsible for making sure that all the departments are driven, perform, are resourced, and work together to keep the business operations on schedule for the benefit of the investors and shareholders.

Scott has broad experience across a diverse range of industries including fund management, asset management, financial services, residential and civil construction, property development, hotel management and marina operations. During his career Scott has held senior finance roles with the Australian operations of Japanese multi-nationals Daikyo and ORIX Corporation.

Scott held the dual position of Group Financial Controller and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with UK venture capital group, Mayfair Ltd in Australia. In this role Scott was responsible for establishing, developing and overseeing the financial management and analytical reporting along with monitoring operational performance of the group’s business varied business interests and property assets. During his time Scott was influential in the expansion of Mayfair’s acquisitions into successful national operations and also aided the sale of certain assets by improving business performance.

Scott is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor of Business degree with a double major in Accounting and Marketing.
