National Portfolio Manager

Murray has over 30 years’ experience in commercial real estate, specialising in Retail Asset Management and Leasing. He has worked extensively in Project Leasing, Centre Management and Portfolio Management, with proven experience in extracting maximum asset value through management, planning, tenancy remixing and operational changes.

Murray has joined Sentinel Property Group as the National Portfolio Manager. Throughout his career, Murray has held various positions with Byvan Management, Savills Australia and McConaghy Shopping Centres, as Centre Manager, Shopping Centre Leasing Retail Portfolio Manager, and Portfolio Director. His responsibilities included the redevelopment and extension of the Shellharbour Square, the set up and opening of a 120,000sqm super regional shopping centre (Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai), and overseeing the performance of the 6 retail assets within the McConaghy Group shopping centre portfolio.

He employs a high level of expertise, working daily with teams to maximise the return of assets with an overall focus on team performance, centre operations, budgeting and risk.

Murray holds an Associate Diploma of Business and Real Estate Valuation from The University of Queensland. His current experience includes his involvement as a Judge and the Property Council’s Queensland Retail Property Awards.
